During the latest event organized by ATIF, FLEXO DAY SOUTH, the new president, Andrea Dallavalle, who succeeds historian Marco Gambardella, was elected and introduced, and technical topics of undoubted interest were discussed in depth.
Of particular interest were Alessandro Rigo's reports on market trends in flexography and future prospects and Stefano D'Andrea's talk on the advantage of implementing the gamut of dyes used.
Fabio Cavazzi, Tito Lapriore and Giuseppe Tripaldi expounded on the pros and cons of water-based inks and their possible uses in the future; while Mauro Lussignoli clarified methods and tools for making print quality measurable and replicable.
Finally, Valentina Sada, explained how the use of green technologies and processes give added value in the challenge to preserve this planet.
It was a special occasion to meet old friends and learn about new realities giving us the valuable opportunity to exchange views and thoughts with fellow professionals and clients in the field.
Naturally, we decided to propose ourselves as new members, hoping to make our own small contribution.
Next meeting in Milan in November for FLEXO DAY NORTH.
