Eight years after the last edition, Drupa 2024, the world's leading trade fair for the Converting industry, was held this year with more than 1,500 exhibitors representing 50 countries and more than satisfactory attendance and, for some manufacturers, record numbers.

Once again, Italy emerged as one of the leading players, with Germany and China, in terms of the number of machinery and technology exhibitors.

Convert Service Srl, which specializes in the provision of technological services, with particular reference to transfers, installations, retrofits and servicing of converting lines, did not miss the opportunity to browse through the stands, where a growing proposal of machines and technologies for digital printing as well as robotics and automation in the management of the phases that accompany printing was noted, confirmation of the interest in automating and making processes and products replicable.

Leading manufacturers of flexo printing presses, were able to demonstrate the reliability and quality of their lines with live demonstrations, printing “complicated” materials and complex subjects, thus highlighting their excellent results in terms of energy savings, waste, materials, machine downtime, and quiet operation.

Finally, the willingness to embrace the green value in production more and more consciously by choosing machinery, products and technologies that impact the environment less was highlighted.

It was a pleasant opportunity for us to learn about new technologies and implement our offerings, meeting with already established partners, discussing future projects and getting to know very interesting new realities.
